The Norwich modified football team celebrates an undefeated 2023 season

NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado modified football team wrapped up their 2023 season with a big 47-24 win over Chenango Forks on Saturday, which completed a perfect 7-0 year. This program is the third team among the Norwich youth to see an undefeated season, after the Norwich Cyclones’ flag football and ‘B’ team also achieved such success.
This talented group of seventh and eighth graders on the Modified program outscored opponents 251-91, including scoring a high of 47 points this past week and shutting out Windsor 38-0 in the second game of the season.
