Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County holding annual meeting

NORWICH – Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County will hold its Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Canasawacta Country Club.

The annual meeting is a gathering of the membership of the organization and the public is welcome to attend. Those wishing to attend should RSVP to Rhonda Turrell by December 5.

Agenda items for the Annual Meeting include a review of the past year’s financials and program highlights, guest speaker Cornell Cooperative Extension Director Andy Turner, and volunteer recognition.

Elections for open board of directors’ positions will be conducted by in-person paper ballet. Anyone who is an enrollee of the association may be eligible to vote in annual meeting elections of officers. Enrollment is open to all persons interested in the work of the association. Persons become enrollees by: (a) participation in programs or activities of the association (b) requesting the association to place their names on an association list that will be maintained for one calendar year, or (c) serving the association as a volunteer. All persons, who, as of the date of a voting event, are [name] County residents, 18 years of age or older; and who qualify as an enrollee in accordance with Article IV, Section 1 are eligible to vote at such event.
