Boys’ Basketball: OV falls to OnTech Charter
SOUTH OTSELIC – The Otselic Valley Vikings boys’ basketball team hosted Class C’s OnTech Charter on Thursday, falling 77-48. OnTech came out strong in the first quarter alone, posting 28 points. While OV attempted to keep up, OnTech remained quick on the boards.
Sophomore Lukas Schieferstein had a great outing for the Vikings as he scored a season-high 24 points, including two three’s and going six-for-nine at the free-throw line. Braeden Davis finished with 21 points as Owen Davis was limited with two and Ryley Palmer made one free-throw in the loss.
OV (0-3) looks to bounce back as they host Belleville-Henderson this Saturday at noon.
