Boys’ Basketball: B-G gets past Roxbury

ROXBURY – On Saturday, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys basketball team traveled to Roxbury, where they came away with the 47-32 victory. The Bobcats improved to 3-2 on the season, which leads all local Chenango County MAC teams at this time.
B-G was off to fast start that helped drive them to a 21-16 lead at the half. The Bobcats only stayed consistent in the final 16 minutes, where they limited Roxbury from making any big runs.
James Hogroian paved the way with 20 points and nine rebounds and is averaging 21.8 points per game through only five games played. Tim Kinter finished with eight points while Arien Sherman had seven in the win.
B-G travels to Harpursville tonight (Tuesday) at 6 p.m.
