NORWICH - The newly-installed ice rink in downtown Norwich's East Park is open for members of the community to enjoy. Several local residents and organizations have already tried out the rink for skating and ice hockey.

The community ice rink was made possible by several sponsors, including the Knights of Columbus Council 211, NBT Bank, The Norwich Sidney Pennysaver, Wilson Funeral Home, the Northeast Classic Car Museum, Electron Coil, VFW Post 2782, the Norwich Firefighters Association, Wilcox Construction, Chenango Mental Health Network, the Norwich Police Benevolent Association, and more.

Keep an eye on the City of Norwich Youth Bureau Facebook page for upcoming information about loaning skates.
