Boys’ Basketball: S-E drops to Little Falls
SHERBURNE – Coming off back-to-back wins against Richfield Springs and Adirondack, the Sherburne-Earlville boys’ basketball team hosted Little Falls in a league match-up. S-E snapped a two-game skid with a 65-35 deficit. S-E has been trying to come back to get closer at an even record. However, they are 7-11 with just two regular season games remaining. S-E is currently fourth in their division.
S-E was held to single-digits in the first half of the contest with Little Falls taking full advantage in the first three quarters to build up a big lead. S-E was able to find their rhythm in the second half, but were still limited at making a big run.
Darren Miles led the team with eight points, where he knocked in two three’s. Nick Hull added six points while Garret Winton, Nelson Hadlock, Brayden O’Hara, and Avery Parsons all had four points in the loss.
S-E hosts Sidney in their final regular season home game on Friday at 7 p.m, where they will honor seniors Darren Miles, Aaron Key, Noah Bigford, Avery Parsons, and Nelson Hadlock prior to tip-off.
