GMU’s Devon Hartwell records 1000 points
CHERRY VALLEY – Gilbertsville-Mount Upton’s boys’ basketball player Devon Hartwell has had himself a stellar senior season. On December 15, he recorded a career-high 48 points with 10 three-pointers, which broke GMU’s single-game records for points and three-pointers. In the Raiders’ final game of the season, Devon scored 27 points against Cherry Valley-Springfield in the playoffs to finish his basketball career with 1,008 points. He averaged 24 points this season and became GMU’s 15th varsity basketball player to reach this milestone. Congratulations, Devon and best of luck in all your future endeavors.
