Baseball: OV-C Vikings drop to Madison
SOUTH OTSELIC – The Otselic Valley-Cincinnatus Vikings baseball team hosted Madison for the second time this season on Friday afternoon. The Vikings, who had fallen to Madison and McGraw in the first two outings, dropped to Madison again by a score of 8-2 in OV’s home opener.
Madison held the Vikings and scored eight unanswered runs, including four runs in the second inning. OV/Cincinnatus finally got on the board in their final at-bats with a two-run single by Hunter Rozewski. Otherwise, the Vikings reached base six times on walks.
OV/C (0-3) stays home to host the Town of Webb Timberwolves on Friday, April 26 at 4:30 p.m.
