Softball: B-G stays hot; holds on vs Sidney

BAINBRIDGE – Coming off winning the Spring Fling Tournament, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats softball team returned home on Tuesday to face the Sidney Sabers. B-G rolled on with a 4-2 victory and are 7-0 to start the season. The Bobcats are tied for first place in the MAC, along with Deposit-Hancock.

Sidney put their two runs on the board in the first inning, which were unearned runs, as one runner had reached base on an error and one was a steal of home. Sidney held that lead up until the bottom of the fifth inning. B-G answered back with one run in the bottom of the fourth off Emma Kinter’s RBI single.
