Norwich Softball falls to Delhi
NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado softball team hosted non-league opponent Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. Norwich fell 9-0 and was held hitless through seven innings played.
Norwich did get seven base runners on walks, which Loralee Brown walked twice and stole two bases while Emma Palmer stole one. Caitlin Wetterhahn and Madalyn Quattrocchi split time on the mound and both allowed just three earned runs and both struck out seven batters, combining for 14 strikeouts in the loss.
Norwich (0-8) hosts Sus Valley this evening at 5 p.m
