QUANTICO, VA – On May 11, City of Norwich Police Chief Reuben J. Roach graduated from the National Command Course for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Quantico, Virginia.

The National Command Course, or NCC, is a week-long intensive leadership program attended by approximately fifty chiefs and sheriffs from across the country.

“This was an amazing course, and I am grateful to have been able to attend it. The networking with outside agencies and future coordination with our FBI field office is invaluable,” said Police Chief Reuben J. Roach.

The FBI covers all expenses for invited guests, and gaining access to this training is highly competitive. Throughout the course, participants immerse themselves in strategic leadership, officer wellness, and cultural change. A highlight of the course was a presentation on Strategic Leadership by four-star General John Kelly USMC (Ret).
