MORAVIA – Coming off a big win against Delhi in the first round of the Section IV, Class C tournament, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats baseball team traveled to face third-seed Moravia. The Bobcats could not make a big comeback with a season-ending 5-2 loss.
After Moravia got on the board in the bottom of the second with a run, B-G answered back with two runs to keep the fiery offense going. Connor Davy did what he does best by drilling a deep ball to left field for a two-run home run as Kaiden Seymour scored after reaching on a walk. Unfortunately, that would be all the scoring for the Bobcats and Moravia added four runs in the bottom of the third and held B-G to secure the victory. Davy, Damon Seymour, and Parker Buttice, who had two hits, provided the hits for the offense while the rest reached on walks.
Timmy Kinter and Julian Pruskowski split time on the mound with Kinter going five innings, allowing five runs, four earned, on eight hits, five walks, and struck out five batters. Pruskowski pitched one inning in relief, giving up just one hit and struck out two batters.
