SOUTH NEW BERLIN – The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club wrapped up its third week of the 2024 season on Wednesday, May 15. Webster Paving (Ed Webster and Bob Wells) remain in the lead with a 11-1 record and have scored 1762 points. Nomadic Addicts (Darla Smith and Sheryl Thurston) are in second with a 9-3 record, one game ahead of Fun Lovers (Tim Lidell and Mike Grant). Top Notch Timber and Potter’s Tires round out the top five teams.

Lee Coon and Ed Webster split the top men’s high singles and high series. Coon led the high singles with a 65 over Webster’s 62 and Ron Anderson of Rustic Ridge’s 58. Webster and Potter’s Tires’ John Edwards tied for the high series with a 158 as Anderson had a 157. Jess Sherwood swept the women’s leaderboards with a 60 in the high series and had a 162 high series.

Kelly’s Flowers (Ed Kohler and Lee Coon) won both the team high singles and high series. They scored a 119 for team singles and a 310 in the high series. Potter’s Tires won the high single handicap game with a 221 and the high series handicap with a 647.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night.
