Norwich Outdoor Power Equipment welcomes summer with community event

NORWICH – Last week, Norwich Outdoor Power Equipment held a spring and summer outdoor event that included raising money for students, offered a chance to win free equipment, and wood carving demonstrations. Owner Jon Dunckel welcomed the Oxford Boosters Cub and artisan wood carver, Victor Montgomery, along with his grand daughter, Alayna Johnson. The event that took place Saturday May 18. The company had a pieces of equipment to try out, including chainsaws, blowers, brush trimmers, mowers, and a number of other power tools. Several were gifted away to visitors who joined a raffle. The business also offered free food from the grill and gave visiting veterans free hats to honor Armed Forces Day. (Photo by Tyler Murphy)
