TIOGA CENTER – Coming off back-to-back strong seasons, the Greene Trojans softball team had made the Section IV, Class C semi-finals again, where they faced Tioga for the second straight year. Greene defeated Tioga in shutout fashion in 2023, but could not this time as they fell 16-4. Greene finished the 2024 season with a 9-6 record.

Down 8-0, Greene got on the board in the top of the fourth inning and scored two runs. They also added two runs in the top of the sixth. Audra Doll sparked the offense with a home run to right field as Abby Yahner led the team by going 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI. Cali Knapp had two hits and drove in one run.
