Legion Baseball: Norwich drops to Otego

OTEGO – On Thursday, the Norwich Post #189 Legion baseball team traveled to take on Otego for the second time this week. After Monday’s high-scoring affair, Norwich, unfortunately, couldn’t battle back in this one as they were shutout 14-0. This game may have been the final game of the Legion season for Norwich with other teams moving to the playoffs.

Norwich was held to just one hit through the five innings played. Kolbey Redenback singled to right field in the second inning to spark the offense. Zac Turner reached base in the first inning on a hit by pitch before Kaden Downey got on with a fielder’s choice and stole second base.
