NORWICH - The City of Norwich Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred at about 8 p.m. Thursday evening on Prentice Street in the City of Norwich.

The driver, Robert Vanvorst, age 66, was traveling eastbound on Prentice Street and ran off the roadway into a wooded area. Mr. Vanvorst succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
