BAINBRIDGE - The New York State Police in Troop “C” was alerted to a widely shared Facebook post regarding an alleged attempted abduction of a child on Dingman Hill in Bainbridge on August 26, 2024.

The NYSP took this report very seriously and conducted a thorough investigation.

The investigation concluded that no attempted abduction occurred. Troopers and Investigators canvassed the area and interviewed the two individuals in the reported pick-up truck.
