DEPOSIT - As a result of an New York State Police and Delaware County District Attorney’s Office investigation into the death of a 3-year-old child in Deposit, a Delaware County Grand Jury has indicted the child's father, 27-year-old  James Christ, Jr., of Deposit, on second degree murder, a class “A-I” felony.  

The child’s mother,  Marielys Ramos, age 27, of Unadilla, NY, has been indicted on Reckless Endangerment in the first degree, a class “D” felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor.  

Christ Jr. and Ramos are being held at the Delaware County Correctional Facility, pending arraignment.
