NORWICH – The Norwich, Oxford, and Sherburne-Earlville football teams played one another, along with Section III’s Mount Markham, in a local scrimmage held at Perry Browne fields or otherwise known as Alumni Field to most on Saturday morning. The high school football season officially kicks off this Friday with week “zero” games. Norwich will face Cortland at 6 p.m. as S-E takes on Sidney at 3 p.m. at Colgate University on Sunday, September 8. Oxford will play Attica on Saturday, September 7. (Photos by Morgan Golliver)
