GREENE – The Greene Trojans girls’ swim team hosted Norwich in their first dual meet of the 2024 season on Thursday. Norwich won the overall meet 74-36 with everyone doing well for the first meet.

Norwich earned lone victories in the 200 yard medley relay, featuring Kaelyn Conant, Meghan Funke, Alex Shtrauch, and Jillian Petrie, in the 200 yard individual medley with Alex Shtrauch, and in the 100 yard butterfly with Meghan Funke. Funke and Raeley Patterson both swam the 100 yard breaststroke with Funke finishing in 1:29.55 and Patterson swimming it in 2:01.25.

Conant and Petrie also swam together for the 100 yard backstroke with Conant in first with a time of 1:32.28 and Petrie coming in behind at 1:47.34.
