WHITNEY POINT – Coming off a shutout win vs Dryden in the season opener on Saturday, the Greene Trojans girls’ soccer team was back in action on Monday against Whitney Point. Greene came away with another shutout victory to beat the Eagles 8-0. Greene also picks up their second win of the season.

Greene led 5-0 at the half before adding their final three goals in the second half of play. The Trojans were led by Hailey Butler, who scored a hat trick. She scored one goal in the first half and two in the second half.

Cali Knapp and Audra Doll both had two goals and an assist while Alexis Cloyd scored one goal. LeeAnn Seidof led the team with two assists as Lyndsay Specht earned one assist in the win.
