OV boys earn shutout victory vs Madison

STOCKBRIDGE –The Otselic Valley Vikings boys’ soccer team played Madison at Stockbridge on Wednesday afternoon, where they came away with a 2-0 shutout victory. It was the Vikings’ second win of the season after defeating Lafayette/Onondaga in the DeRuyter tournament.

While Madison limited OV from scoring more than two goals, OV saw great opportunities offensively. Owen Davis led the Vikings with one goal and one assist. Chivorn Ratti also scored for OV as Ryatt Bilodeau had an assist in the win. Goalkeeper Caleb Loomis made six saves. Coach Preston also named Lukas Schieferstein a stand out player of the game as he provided help at the back and midfield for the Vikings.
