NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado golf team welcomed Waverly to the Canasawacta Country Club on Monday for a STAC league meeting. Norwich repeated its previous match score of a 205, which they achieved against Oneonta on September 11, to defeat Waverly 205-276.

Brevin Bennett led Norwich with a 35 on the par-36 course as Matthew Brunick followed with a 39. Jacob Dowdall and Gavin Burrell both shot a 43 while Julien Smith had a 45 and Michael Brunick with a 48.

Charlie Smith (45), Brayden Adoff (51), and Jacob Lobdell (56) all received extra playing time.
