GREENE – The Greene Trojans field hockey team honored its class of 2025 seniors in its home opener against Spencer-Van Etten/Candor on Tuesday evening. Greene earned the 3-0 shutout for its five seniors.

Nadia Brown, Claire Flanagan, Ella Gaylord, Kenley Jenks, and Abby Yahner were all honored prior to the start of the game. Congratulations, ladies.

Brown had a great senior night as she scored two of Greene’s three goals. All the scoring came in the first half. Madison Wise scored the third goal off a pass from Claire Flanagan as Josie Dutcher assisted one of Brown’s goals. Brown’s first goal came with 15 seconds left in the first quarter.
