Boys Soccer:

Sherburne-Earlville ties with Camden

CAMDEN – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves fought hard against Camden on Wednesday afternoon in a game that went into two overtimes and couldn’t continue, so both teams drew a 2-2 tie. S-E came back from a two goal deficit to tie in the second half. James O’Connor and Gibson Sherwood both scored for the Timberwolves. JJ Fischer made six saves. S-E (1-6-1) heads to Canastota on October 3 at 4:30 p.m.


OV drops to DeRuyter

SOUTH OTSELIC – The Otselic Valley Vikings boys’ soccer team won 1-0 in their previous game against Stockbridge Valley, but came up short in a 3-0 deficit against DeRuyter on Wednesday. Caleb Loomis made 11 saves in the loss. Coach Preston’s standout players were Tommy Kenyon and Austin Brown. OV (3-5) hosts Madison on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
