B-G stays hot; defeats Harpursville/Afton 40-6

BAINBRIDGE – After taking care of business in a tight game against SVEC last week, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats football team came out with a big 40-6 win against Harpursville/Afton to stay unbeaten at 4-0.

“It was a good win and the kids played well,” B-G head coach Art Rigas said. “We showed great defense and any given week, anybody can beat anybody, so we always look to get better each week.”

Rigas credited his team for being able to complete passes early as quarterback Connor Davy completed six passes for 135 yards with three touchdown passes to Declyn Marshfield (two) and one pass to Isaiah Hampton. Marshfield finished with three carries for 56 yards.
