OXFORD – The Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team honored its seniors on Friday night prior to the game against non-league opponent GMU. Oxford led 2-0 at halftime and never looked back while adding on three more goals in the second half to win 5-1. Congratulations to seniors; Taegan Manwarren, Emily Holbert, Nora Thorne, Raya Warner, and Christine Seiler.

Manwarren and Kayla Knapp was off to a hot start for the Blackhawks as Manwarren scored halfway through the first half, where Christine Seiler’s shot was blocked, but then Manwarren rebounded and scored. Knapp scored on a high shot that was almost blocked by the goalie, but was over her head.
