Boys Soccer: Greene tops A/H
AFTON – The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team traveled to Afton on Tuesday to take on the Afton/Harpursville Crimson Knights. Greene came away with a 6-1 victory and have won five out of their last six with the previous game ending in a 2-2 tie. The Trojans continue to led the MAC by one game with Oxford right behind them with one final regular season game left until the league tournament.
Greene led 5-1 at halftime and notched one final goal within the last 40 minutes. Jack Rice led the Trojans with a hat trick and also picked up two assists. Kloden Rapp scored one goal and had two assists while Judd Dutcher and Jacob Acevedo both scored one goal each. Pax McCumiskey and Grant Leonard added one assist each as Jackson Roth made two saves in goal.
