NEWARK VALLEY – Coming off a big shutout win against Tioga on Tuesday, the Greene Trojans field hockey team traveled to Newark Valley, where they earned another shutout with a 5-0 win against the Cardinals. This victory marks Greene’s third win in a row and ninth win overall.

Nadia Brown led Greene with two goals on the evening with one assist from Josie Dutcher and another from Irelyn deHaan. Brown also assisted Ella Gaylord’s goal in the third quarter. Deirdre Colgan scored a goal off an assist by Mia Yahner to close out the first half. Yahner also scored the Trojans’ first goal of the contest.
