Field Hockey: Greene shuts out Walton

GREENE – Following the girls’ soccer game, the Greene Field Hockey team took on Walton under the lights. The Trojans came away with a 3-0 shutout victory and their fifth straight win. All three goals were scored in the first half of play.

Greene started off on an early run, where they earned a penalty corner within the first two minutes of the first quarter. Claire Flanagan scored off the penalty corner from a pass from Josie Dutcher. Dutcher had her own goal on a penalty corner as well, assisted by Abby Yahner. Yahner scored within the first three minutes of the second quarter that was assisted by Rachel Anderson.
