ONEONTA – After defeating Sidney in the MAC semi-finals, the Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team hosted Unatego in the MAC championship game, held at the Wright Soccer Fields in Oneonta. Oxford fell 4-1 to a Unatego team who has seen many MAC title appearances, including a win in 2022, before Unadilla Valley defeated Sidney in 2023. Oxford played hard all season to make it to the league title game and also made their community proud.

Oxford’s lone goal came from Taegan Manwarren to open up the second half as she received a long pass from Jayne Fleury and made her move to the net.
