SPENCER VAN ETTEN – After an exciting win last week, the Oxford Blackhawks football team traveled to Spencer Van Etten/Candor, where they fell 54-8. Oxford’s Richard Hunter helped get Oxford on the board with a 12 yard run in the second half.

“We battled injuries and sickness all week,” Oxford head coach Trenton Lyons said. “We lost multiple starters and had to adjust on the fly. We struggled with fumbles, high snaps, and a few interceptions… all of those things accumulated to get them a big lead going into the half.”
