DEPOSIT – With a strong five-game win streak, the Greene Trojans field hockey team traveled to take on a fiery Deposit/Hancock game for a chance at the Section IV, Division II title. Both teams battled in regulation, which forced overtime. Deposit/Hancock scored with 6:30 left in overtime to win 3-2.

After being down 1-0 at halftime, Greene tied things up with a goal from Claire Flanagan with an assist from Ahraya Whitt. The Eagles came right back to tie it up 10 minutes later, but Greene’s Macie Browning sent the game into extras with an assist by Nadia Brown.
