Gilbertsville Veterans Day ceremony to be held on Sunday, November 10

GILBERTSVILLE - The Gilbertsville American Legion Auxiliary invites the public to a Veterans Day Ceremony on Sunday, November 10 at 2 p.m. at the Grange Hall in Gilbertsville.

There will be light refreshments and opening ceremonies by the Boy Scouts. Speakers will include Legion Commander Mike Fallon, Mayor Nate Talbot, and Major General Pete Lennon. The Girl Scouts will also have a presentation and the DAR will recognize Vietnam-era veterans.

Applications for Hometown Heroes banners will be available and Girls State Representative Emma Peck will host a POW table. Patriotic music will be provided by Randy Palada Harmonicas.
