B-G and A/H bowlers roll off to officially begin 2024 season; B-G earns the sweep

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats and the Afton/Harpursville Crimson Knights kicked off the 2024 season with a match at Galaxy Bowl on Wednesday. This match comes after the teams participated in the Crimson Knights tip-off tournament over the weekend. B-G boys and girls swept the match.

Boys:

All five of the Bobcats boys rolled a 528 series or better with Ryan Larsen paving the way with a 627, including a 214 in the first and a 224 in the third game. Aayden Ireland followed with a 620 series, all 200 games, including a 214 in the second game.

Ethan Beardslee had a 222 and a 211 to finish with a 617 series as John Leizear bowled a 201 and a 208 to come away with a 599 series. Jacob Lyle rounded out the B-G boys with a 528.

The Crimson Knights boys were led by Nick Farnham, who rolled a team-high 513 series with a 191 in the first game. Easton Bagg rolled a 486 series as Maxim Dirosa finished with a 462 and Braedyn Barton with a 452. Dominic Westbrook and Tristen Pike split time on the lanes with Westbrook rolled two games to Pike’s one. Westbrook finished with a 222 and Pike bowled a 115 in the second game.

Girls:

B-G’s Tabitha Doyle led all female bowlers with a 467 series, including a 181 in the last game. Sophie Gold followed with a 436 with Kassidy Middleton finishing with a 410 and Lily Boice had a 302 series.
