STAMFORD – On Tuesday, the UV boys basketball team returned to Stamford for the consolation game of the Stamford Booster Club tournament, where they faced Laurens/Milford. UV came away with a close 54-46 win. The team showed tough defensive efforts all-around to pick up their second win of the season.

Haywood Edwards led the Storm with 16 points, where he went 4-for-6 at the line. He also had nine rebounds, including seven defensive rebounds, and eight steals. Preston York followed with 11 points as Denzel Peter finished with 10 points and was named on the all-tournament team.
