S-E swim competes against Cooperstown/Cherry Valley

COOPERSTOWN – On Thursday, the Sherburne-Earlville/Hamilton co-ed swim team competed against Cooperstown/Cherry Valley at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown. Both teams saw athletes qualify for the Class C championship in multiple events throughout the meet and continued to drop swim times.

As a team, S-E won both 200 relays before coming away with solid finishes in their individual events.

Parker McCracken led S-E with a second place finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.22 seconds as Collin Maguire took fourth with a qualifying Class C championship time of 28.03 seconds. Lydia Larchar and Ava Flanagan followed in fifth and sixth place respectively. Flanagan also qualified for the Class C championship in the 100 freestyle, where she finished third with a time of 1:04.19. Maguire followed in fourth place (1:06.52). Isaac Larchar achieved a new personal best time of 1:21.78 for seventh place.
