S-E boys come up short against Clinton

CLINTON – After finishing second in their own tip-off tournament last weekend, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys basketball team traveled to Clinton on Friday for their first CSC league game of the season. S-E came up short 50-47, falling to 1-2 to start the season.

S-E had a strong first half, scoring 33 points, but were outscored 31-14 in the second half and were unable to make big plays to come back.
