BAINBRIDGE -The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls basketball team hosted Marathon on Saturday night, where they fell 41-37 in a hard-fought non-league game.

Both teams were off to a slow start with B-G taking a brief 19-16 lead at halftime. Marathon got the edge in the third quarter as they picked up the pace to score 16 points within those eight minutes. B-G attempted a late run in the fourth quarter, but came up short.

Marathon saw strength in rebounding and limited B-G's overall team efforts.
