Oxford-Greene Wrestlers top Sidney

SIDNEY – After both teams competed in Norwich’s Coach K duals over the weekend, the Oxford-Greene and Sidney wrestling teams met for a local dual match on Tuesday night. Oxford/Greene came out on top 48-24.

Sidney took three pins to start as well as picking up one forfeit. Otherwise, it was all Blackhawks. Kade Mustin, Troy Braman, Colin Morlando, Chris Callahan, and Colten Button earned wins by pin. Ryder Hitt, Isaiah Sexton, and Tallan Davis received forfeits.

Oxford-Greene is back on the mat this evening home against Marathon at 6 p.m. Sidney will be at Walton’s Cuneen Doane tournament over the weekend.

The Oxford-Greene girls wrestling team competed against the newly combined Sidney/BGAH/Unatego team, but no results have been posted yet.
