S-E drops to unbeaten Cooperstown
COOPERSTOWN – After winning the UV Holiday tournament, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys basketball team traveled to Cooperstown to take on the undefeated Hawkeyes. S-E fell 68-45 to an even 4-4 on the season.
Meanwhile, the S-E JV team remains unbeaten. Congrats gentlemen.
S-E stayed consistent offensively, but could not contain a hot Hawkeyes team, who are ranked fifth in the state, and who posted 22 points in the third quarter alone.
Brayden O'Hara led the Timberwolves with 15 points and had six rebounds. Nick Hull added nine points and dished out four assists while Garret Winton chipped in seven points. Blaine Fleming and Parker Goedel both finished with three points as Tomek Jusianiec, Mike Behret, and Austin Clark each added one basket apiece. Charlie Potrzeba and Isaac Porchea both added one free-throw.
