S-E boys drop to Herkimer

SHERBURNE – After taking down one league opponent, Adirondack on Monday, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys basketball team could not make it happen against a tough Herkimer team. After both teams were tied at 27 at halftime, the Magicians excelled in the second half to earn the 70-39 victory.
S-E was held to 12 points in the second half with only two points in the final eight minutes.
S-E was led by Nick Hull, who continues to have a strong senior season, with 13 points, including three three-pointers. Garret Winton and Charlie Potrzeba both added seven points while Tomek Jusianiec and Parker Goedel both hit one three each. Austin Clark, Brayden O’Hara, and Isaac Porchea contributed with one basket apiece.
S-E (5-7) hosts non-league opponent Cooperstown on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
