Oxford-Greene Wrestlers finish 10th at Red Devil Invitational

VERONA - The Oxford-Greene wrestling team competed in the Red Devil Invitational on Saturday at VVS High School. Oxford-Greene finished 10th out of 16 teams while Beaver River took first.
After falling short on his home mat and on senior night, Greene senior Aiden Marcin achieved his 100th win and then some at Saturday's meet. Congratulations, Aiden!
Marcin also won the 145 weight class at the Red Devil Invitational with three pins and a decision. He is 13-2 so far in his final season and 102-31 so far in his career.
Kade Mustin also won the 124 weight class with two tech falls, a decision, and a major decision.
Mason Reed took fifth in the 108 weight class with two pins as Troy Braman came in sixth in the 138 weight class with two pins and a win by tech fall. Urijah Dibble fought hard but fell in both matches in the 215 weight class.
Oxford-Greene will be at Harpursville to take on BGAH on Wednesday, January 22 at 6 p.m.
