Chenango County Sheriff's Office charges Utica man following drug investigation

NORWICH - Following a month-long investigation into drug sales, the Chenango County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a Utica man on Friday.
According to authorities, Shawn A. Taylor, 41, was allegedly traveling from Utica to Chenango County to sell crack cocaine.
The Chenango County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies executed a search warrant in Norwich with assistance from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Norwich Police Department.
During the search, police reported finding packaged crack cocaine. Taylor was taken into custody without incident and is being held without bail at the Chenango County Correctional Facility.
Taylor has been charged with 3rd degree criminal possession of a Controlled substance, a B Felony; 5th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a D Felony; and 2nd degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, an a misdemeanor.
