B-G boys drop to Delhi

DELHI – After a hard non-league loss to Chenango Valley, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys basketball team only faced a tougher match ahead against league contenders Delhi. Delhi remains unbeaten in the league after a 69-33 win against B-G. B-G falls to 3-2 in the MAC and is 7-5 overall.

B-G's best efforts were in the second and fourth quarters, but struggled at the start and after the half. Delhi was strong from start to finish, settling in with a steady lead.

Cyrus Megale and Dominick Johnson led efforts in the first while Tim Kinter and Levi Fletcher led the team in the third quarter.

Fletcher led the Bobcats with 11 points with six of the team's 10 points in the second quarter. Cyrus Megale laid down a couple threes to finish with six points. Michael Lipani also had six points with two threes in the fourth quarter. Johnson finished with six points as well while Kinter settled for four points in the loss.
