HARPURSVILLE – The BGAH Bears wrestling team hosted Oxford-Greene for a dual meet on Wednesday evening. BGAH also honored all the seniors in their final home meet. Congratulations to Elliott Briggs, Blaise Loya, and Devon Rowe.
Oxford-Greene came away with the 40-35 victory. Aiden Marcin and David Dunkel both earned wins by forfeit while Mason Reed, Kade Mustin, Troy Braman, Christopher Callahan, and Isaiah Sexton won their respective matches.
Reed pinned BGAH’s Frankie Parsons in 3:26 as Mustin and Braman won by tech fall. Callahan pinned Zane Mumbulo in 1:16 and Sexton pinned Caleb Larsen in 1:13.
BGAH’s Colton Hurlburt, Silas Greenman, and Liam Pohli earned wins by forfeit as Briggs pinned Tallan Davis in :37 seconds. It was Briggs’ 12th win of the season and 54th overall in his high school career.
Colton Ryan pinned Oxford-Greene’s Dawson Parks in 3:54 as Loya won by tech fall over Kenny Baucas.
