UV/GMU/Norwich bowlers honor seniors vs Deposit

NEW BERLIN – On Friday, the Unadilla Valley/GMU/Norwich bowling team hosted Deposit at Lake Street Lanes, where the Storm boys and girls swept the match. Prior to the match, the Storm honored its seniors. Congratulations to Jacob Prentice, Kameran Franklin, Tyler Bates, Dawson Robinson, and Shelby Rose.
The boys swept Deposit by a final score of 3264 to 2374. The Storm had four bowlers bowl a 668 or better.
Jacob Prentice led the boys with a 692 series with a high 247 in his final game. Tyler Bates followed with a 685 series, where he also rolled a 247 in his final game.
Kameran Franklin bowled a team-high 256 in his second game and finished with a 683 series as Dawson Robinson had a game of a 246 and had a 668 series.
Teagin Eccleston, Brayden Prentice, and David Montgomery split time on the lanes. Eccleston led the trio with a 194 as Prentice rolled a 174 and Montgomery with a 168.
The Storm girls swept Deposit with a total 2372 to 1711. Natalie Smith led the girls with a 509 series with a 187 in her final game. Shelby Rose finished behind Smith with a 488 series with a 177 in her first game.
Amelia Beckwith bowled a 454 series while Lee Clipston had a 442 series.
Kylie Menard and Layla Stevens shared time with Menard rolling a team-high game of a 201 to finish with a 318 series as Stevens bowled a 161.
UV/GMU/Norwich heads to Galaxy Bowl this afternoon against Afton/Harpursville at 3:45 p.m.
