S-E bowlers stay hot with shutout win vs Herkimer

EARLVILLE – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves bowling team earned the 5-0 shutout win over Herkimer on Monday afternoon. S-E improves to 11-1 on the season, still behind Cooperstown in the CSC West. They will take on the Hawkeyes in a few matches to avenge their only loss of the season.
S-E defeated Herkimer with a final score of 2404-1634. Leland Smith led the team with a 522 series with a 201 in his first game. Nick Jenkins followed with a 508 series with a 195 in his first game.
Evan Chesebro added a 445 series as Colton Camenga, Collin Pattee, and Matthew Morgan shared time on the lanes. Camenga finished with a 334 series amongst his two games while Morgan had a 312 and Pattee with a 283 series.
Herkimer’s scores ranged from a low 256 to a high 410.
S-E’s next match was expected this afternoon against Clinton, but has been postponed due to weather.
