OV boys sneak past Manlius-Pebble Hill

DEWITT – After an exciting game-winner against Fabius-Pompey, the Otselic Valley Vikings boys basketball team pulled off another tight win against Manlius-Pebble Hill. The Vikings are two games over .500 at 8-6 as they came away with a 47-43 win.

It was a game that OV controlled from the start but the Trojans, who were still looking for their first win of the season, stayed close behind them and fought back late in the game. They even took a brief lead with three minutes left and went up by three. However, the Vikings got back on track on both ends of the court, where their defense forced turnovers and the offense regained the lead and kept it.
